Alternative R+B
VAYD is an alternative r+b trio composed of producers David Young + Devin Askounis, with vocalist Vernell Anthony Davis. Their sound is defined by Davis’ pop/r+b vocal stylings, riding atop swirling synths and electro beats. Much of their work focuses on the hybridization of the human and the synthetic, an aesthetic which the band strives to bring forth both musically and visually.
